This is a fantasy animation created by using elephant characters based on the novel of the same title, written by Yasushi Akimoto.
In Chapter 1, a father of an elephant family all of a sudden knows he has a very short time to live. He decides to abandon his work to devote everything to his family, and finally he is drawn up to heaven. In Chapter 2, the son’s feeling after his father’s death is mainly described.

The background music matches the story perfectly. An indie label band “Juleps” sings this song, and its melody and its lyrics tug on your heartstrings. This is a moving story that makes you feel warmth of the family and affection for people around you.

Episode 2: Passing The Torch
The farther in Heaven comes back only for a day to witness his daughter’s wedding. Depicting the father brimming with genuine love towards his daughter, it presents you another heartwarming and stirring episode.
