[SYNOPSIS]
Distant Memories
The budding writer, Yuji, lives with his mother. He was born in Morioka, but when he was 3, his farther passed away due to the accident and he and his mother moved to Tokyo. Since then, they have kept moving house for more than 17 times. Yuji doesn’t remember anything about his life in Morioka.

One day he visits Morioka for his work. Walking around the city, Yuji strangely recalls his old days in Tokyo he spent with a girl, Yoshiko. At a bar he meets with a woman named Yoriko. Guided by her, Yuji further explores the city and then Yoriko starts to tell the story –that his memories of Yoshiko are actually the days he spent with Yoriko in Morioka. Yuji finally finds out the truth hidden behind the lost memories.

Memories of the Pervious Life
Nobuko doesn’t remember anything about her farther, who passed away when she was 3. Suffering from terrible headaches, she goes to see a counselor. The medical treatment reminds her of the old memories. When she tries to recall the days around the age of 10, she sees the vision of a boy called Akihiko. From the clues seen in the vision, the counselor suggests the possibility that the vision of Akihiko is the memories of Nobuko’s previous life. Doing the research, Nobuko finds out that Akihiko was murdered by the robber, and the reason Nobuko sees the vision of Akihiro is also revealed.

Confined Memories
Yoshihiko is a designer living in Tokyo. One day, his old friend, Kato, visits him and shows him the old map of their hometown. Remembering the view of the city, they long for the days of their high school. After Kato leaves his place, Yoshihiko once again has a look on the map and recalls the days of the summer he spent with a girl, Ayako. However, Ayako’s house is not printed in the map –it says the site is the vacant house.

Hearing of Kato’s death, Yoshihiro returns to his hometown for the first time after he graduated from high school. There he bumps into his high-school teacher. Reminiscing about the school days, Yoshihiko recounts the story of Ayako, but then the teacher tells him the startling fact.
